Maud Creek Country Lodge
Maud Creek Country Lodge is a unique 4-star rated bed and breakfast in Katherine. Our accommodation is away from the main house, on the banks of the Katherine River. Maud Creek is a peaceful rural retreat, where you can relax watching the wildlife and birds. We are just 6 kms to the spectacular Katherine Gorge.
Maud Creek is a peaceful bed and breakfast situated on the banks of the Katherine River. Set amongst tropical gardens, Maud Creek offers 4-star quality accommodation with service and cleanliness second to none.
Our Lodge has 3 rooms, configured as 2 queens and 1 twin. The twin interconnects with one of the queen rooms and is suitable for parties of up to 4. Each room is airconditioned and has own ensuite bathroom. All rooms open onto a wide shady veranda. The Lodge has a large shared kitchen/lounge/dining room.
The Cottage is fully self contained with queen sized bedroom and 2 single beds and a trundle in the living area. It has a full kitchen, lounge and dining table. Completing the picture is a veranda looking towards the Katherine River.
The grounds are lush and inviting, with pool, BBQ and seating in the shade of some of our Mahogany trees.
Directions: From the centre of Katherine, turn off the Stuart Highway onto Giles Street (Gorge Road). Travel 23 kms towards the Gorge and you cant miss the green and gold sign on the left.

We open during the dry season months of April to October. We are closed from November to March.
Special Events Each year, the Ultra Challenge takes place in Katherine. The end of the first "run" leg comes through Maud Creek and the athletes mount bicycles at the front of the property. A great place to see the athletes and get some great photos.
