Darwin and the Top End Region offers some unique opportunities for shopping. For the serious shopper Casuarina Square, the largest shopping centre in the Territory, boasts over 180 retail stores and two major department stores. Excellent shopping facilities are also available out of town at Karama in the Northern suburbs, and at Palmerston where visitors have a choice of two major shopping centres.
