The Darwin Waterfront Precinct is home to the Territory's only Wave Lagoon.

Offering safe year-round swimming the Wave Lagoon is open daily and is a great spot to cool off, relax or ride a wave. The Wave Lagoon and shallow toddler pools are chlorinated salt water and cover 4000 square metres with the lagoon depth varying from 2m at the deepest point. Suitable for the whole family, the lagoon creates ten different wave patterns with the highest wave reaching 1.7m. Entry charges apply.

There also a sea water Recreation Lagoon and beach area which is free to use.

The Precinct has been a welcomed addition to the tropical city of Darwin and it's fast becoming the place to be seen. A short stroll from the Darwin CBD, with its seaside promenades, parklands, landscaped gardens, retail outlets, hotels and alfresco dining the Waterfront Precinct is proving to be a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.
