Wildman Wilderness Lodge comprises of a central lodge, 10 air-conditioned ‘Habitat’ cabins and 15 Safari Tents with timber floors and canvas walls. Both options feature an en-suite bathroom and stylish finishes to create accommodation with comfort in an awe-inspiring environment. Inherent in the Wildman experience is the wildlife. The Mary River Wetlands are teeming with crocodiles, water buffalo and birdlife. A variety of tours allow you to access the exquisite scenery and unique biodiversity. Wildman Wilderness Lodge offers a luxury glamping experience and a full range of premium accommodation from air-conditioned habitats to luxury safari tents.

The lodge is situated in the heart of the Mary River National Park, approximately halfway to Kakadu from Darwin. Nearby are the Mary River Rockhole, Shady Camp and many other local attractions all within a short driving distance.

Getting to Wildman is an easy 2-hour drive from Darwin or 2.5hrs from Jabiru along the Arnhem Highway. The roads are suitable for 2WD and hire cars. Alternatively, guests can book private transfers.

At Wildman Wilderness Lodge we offer daily tours to help you explore the local Mary River National Park or venture into Kakadu National Park. Visitors can experience an abundance of birdlife, crocodiles, wild buffalo & pigs as well as magnificent floral and bushland displays. They will also learn about the local history and culture. With our convenient runway at the front of the lodge, why not fly in or schedule a helicopter scenic tour?

Wildman Wilderness Lodge has restaurant and bar facilities. Restaurant hours are:

Breakfast 7am -9.30am
Lunch 12pm – 2pm
Dinner 6pm – 8.30pm
We also offer a snacking menu throughout the day.

Our infinity pool is a popular feature and helps guests relax, unwind and cool down from their day's adventures.

Wildman Wilderness Lodge is located approximately half way between Darwin and Kakadu, 170km by road from the Darwin city centre. Drive time from Darwin is less than two hours. Heading south from Darwin on the Arnhem Highway, turn left onto the Point Stuart Road. Follow Point Stuart Road up to the second road to the left - Wildman Wilderness Lodge Road. It is only 7km of “good” compacted gravel road to the lodge (no need for a 4x4 if you are hiring a car). Wildman Wilderness Lodge also has a bush airstrip with good grass cover that caters for light aircraft or helicopters if you are so inclined. Flying time from Darwin is approximately 30 minutes.
Head south from Darwin on the Arnhem Highway and turn left off the highway onto the Point Stuart Road, approximately 17km past the landmark Bark Hut Inn. Point Stuart Road has recently been sealed up to the Wildman turn off, leaving only 7km of good compacted gravel road to the Lodge. Once on Point Stuart Road, please take the second road to the left which will take you to Wildman. The first turn off is for the Rockhole and Wildman Ranger Station.

Wildman Wilderness Lodge has a bush airstrip with good grass cover that caters for light aircraft or helicopters. Flying time from Darwin is approximately 30 minutes.
