Any child is easily satisfied if you take them to this park just 45 minutes out of Darwin. This park gets you up close and personal with local animals that are entirely different to what you'd expect at your local zoo back at home. Special events occur during the school holidays so keep an eye out. Admission fee applies.

 

2. Take a swim at Buley Rockhole and grab an ice-cream with the kids and don't forget to pack a picnic for the kids!

3. Mount Bundy Station

Mount Bundy Station offers a range of accommodation for families and school groups. Wildlife, farm animals, fishing, bushwalking, swimming and photography are just a part of the experience. Only one hour from Darwin and 40 minutes from Litchfield National Park.
