Odes to Joy

Join Darwin Symphony Orchestra for an unforgettable evening of stunning arias, featuring celebrated Australian soprano Emma Matthews and three other outstanding soloists: Ruth Burke (mezzo), Jacob Correia (tenor), and Benjamin Del Borrello (baritone). They will delight you with a selection of beautiful arias from Mozart’s ‘The Abduction from Seraglio’, Bizet’s ‘Pearl Fishers’, Verdi’s ‘Rigoletto Quartet’, and many more. 

DSO then joins forces with Darwin Chorale to present Beethoven’s sublime Ninth Symphony, with its famous ‘Ode to Joy’ chorus that expresses the joy of life and humanity. Don’t miss this is rare opportunity to witness one of the most iconic works in classical music.
