L-Fresh the Lion

L-FRESH The LION is a hip hop artist from South West Sydney, Australia. From the same mold as J. Cole and Black Thought from The Roots, his music is grounded in thought-provoking lyricism. His inspiring live shows have seen him tour with icons including Nas and Talib Kweli.

In 2017, L-FRESH premiered the music video RACI$T / OUR WORLD at New York’s Tribeca TV Festival as part of YouTube’s Creators for Change, and opened for Sir Elton John at Sydney’s Brandcast. This followed an ARIA nomination for his 2016 album BECOME, released on independent powerhouse label Elefant Traks.

L-FRESH performed his newest single Born To Stand Out on India’s popular new tv show, MTV Hustle i n Mumbai and released its music video in collaboration with Abhay Deol (star from Netflix film Chopsticks). He also wrote the official anthem for the Sydney Kings basketball team, WE THE KINGS, and is set to perform it at a number of home games this season.
