Travelling Film Festival 2022 Katherine

Travelling Film Festival (TFF), the regional tour of Sydney Film Festival, will return to Katherine from 11—13 February 2022 at Katherine Star Cinema. The program will showcase six acclaimed feature films, one superb documentaries and three exceptional Australian short films, direct from last year’s Sydney Film Festival and other major international festivals. Opening the festival with a searing reimagining of Henry Lawson's classic with an Indigenous female gaze, THE DROVER'S WIFE THE LEGEND OF MOLLY JOHNSON, starring Leah Purcell (Wentworth), Rob Collins (Total Control) and Sam Reid (The Newsreader). Other award-winning films include the heartwarming French film PETITE MAMAN; Director Pedro Almodövar's dramatic tale of motherhood and historical trauma PARALLEL MOTHERS starring awarding-wing actress Penölope Cruz; a delightful wine-related documentary BLIND AMBITION.
