This 5 day adventure encompasses the beautiful wetlands, ancient rock art and aboriginal culture, cruise between the sheer gorge walls and swim in fresh waterfalls.
See Kakadu from a birds eye vantage and drift over an vital river system while taking in the wildlife surrounding you.
Driving south take the time to have a dip at Edith Falls see the splendor of this popular spot. Arriving into Katherine a country town alive with art gallerys and steeped in history. A short drive from Katherine town centre is Nitmiluk Gorge where you can take a cruise or pack your hiking books to stretch your legs. Seasonal swimming is possible
Returning back on the Stuart Highway drop into Pine Creek a historic mining town. Further on you will pas through Adelaide River town where you will find the War Cemetery and Railway Museum.
Turning left onto Batchelor Rd to take you through to Batchelor 'the gateway' to Litchfield National Park. Stop for a break and enjoy a snack and call into the musuem.
Finish off your Top End Adventure by taking the round trip back to Darwin stopping in Berry Springs take a swim in the natural springs or pull up a stool and enjoy a good outback pub.
