Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge is situated in the heart of the beautiful Mary River Wetlands. It is the ideal base to explore the wilderness of Australia's Top End - The Mary River National Park, Shady Camp Reserve, and Kakadu National Park.

The Mary River region with it's diverse habitats and highest concentration of saltwater crocodiles in the world creates a wildlife observers and fishers paradise. See water buffalo, wallabies, abundant bird species, and spectacular sunsets.Our experienced guides offer a host of activities including walks, billabong cruises, fishing tours, boat hire and 4wd wildlife safaris. They are passionate about wildlife and are determined to ensure you leaving feeling the same way.

Come and see our resident Banteng & iconic Water Buffalo. Barramundi feeding is also a daily experience during the dry season. Families can also enjoy our new Jumping Pillow.

Stay in modern comfortable air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms, tea & coffee facilities, all linen. Rooms range from double and twin share up to 5 share. Perfect for couples, families, fishing groups, and tour groups. A campground is also available with powered sites for caravans and campervans. The camping area is pet friendly.

The Saloon Bar and Bistro is open daily for evening meals and breakfast. Enjoy a cold drink and a succulent steak or fresh Barramundi after your days adventure. BBQ areas are also available for self catering.

Directions

Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge is 180kms from Darwin city. Approx 2 hours drive via the Arnhem Hwy. Loacted half way between Darwin & Kakadu.

To reach the Lodge requires driving on 7kms of well maintained unsealed gravel road. Suitable for 2wd vehicles, caravans and camper vans.

There is a large helipad at the Lodge for any guests arriving by helicopter. A grassed airstrip is also availalbe close by.

Cancellation Policy

*Cancellation must be notified in writing. Cancellations will not be accepted unless received in writing.
*Cancellation within 14 days of arrival date - full charges for accommodation & tours booked.
*No Show - full charges for accommodation & tours booked.
*Early departure – no refunds will be issued for accommodation camping and tours booked or for inclement weather if you decide to leave early.
*Any Deposit paid is non refundable (apart from eligible refunds as mentioned below). The deposit can be transferred to a later date within the Lodge’s current seasonal calendar year only.
*If requested deposits are not paid within 7 days of the date issued the held booking will be withdrawn.
*Arriving with un-notified additional guests or pets may force cancellation of your booking/stay.
*Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge recommends the appropriate travel insurance is taken out encase of sudden cancellation
*Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge reserve the right to cancel any reservation tours/safaris and/or accommodation at any time without prior notice.

Eligible Refunds

*Deposit / payment will be refunded or can be transferred in an event of an immediate threat of a named cyclone & or government declared road closures that prevent access to Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge.
*Deposit / payment will be refunded or can be transferred if COVID-19 travel restrictions prevent travel to the Northern Territory.
*Deposit / payment for accommodation & tours booked that are forced to be cancelled by Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge due to unforeseen circumstances will be refunded.
*Note: Refund administration fees apply to all eligible refunds.
*Note: The deposit / payment can be transferred to a later date within the Lodge’s current seasonal calendar year only.
