Injalak Arts is a thriving art centre in West Arnhem Land. Aboriginally managed and owned, centre supports the livelihoods of over 300 Kunwinkju-speaking artists of the area. The artists here continue an artistic tradition that is thousands of years old and would be more than happy to share their culture with you. Injalak Arts' Pop Up Shop at the Border Store is an easily accessible way for visitors to Kakadu to purchase authentic Indigenous artworks and support local communities.

Injalak Arts and Crafts is located in West Arnhem Land, in a scenically stunning location of green floodplains and grand escarpments. Established in 1989, Injalak Arts is an Aboriginal charitable organisation supporting the production of authentic Aboriginal art. Visitors are very welcome to visit Injalak Arts, tour the art centre and experience breathtaking rock art galleries at the nearby Injalak Hill. Guided tours of Injalak Hill will take you through a maze of caverns and jutting sandstone, which have been festooned with paintings made over thousands of years by one of humanity’s longest enduring artistic traditions. Arguably one of the richest rock art sites in the world, Injalak Hill boasts many galleries, layered with stunning imagery, executed in rich ochre hues. Today, Injalak's artists make authentic art inspired by dreamtime stories, the nearby rock art galleries as well as local plants and animals. Their art practice demonstrates an unbroken link between today’s generation of Kunwinjku people and their ancestors. Many artists work at the centre, making Injalak Arts friendly place to get to know artists and see first-hand how artworks are created.

Injalak Arts’ Shop offers a range of affordable and high-end art in mediums and styles reflective of the ingenuity of Kunwinjku people. Artworks available include paintings on paper and bark, carvings, artefacts - clap sticks, mako (didgeridoos), mimi poles and lorrkons (hollow logs), fibre works - baskets and marebu (pandanus mats) and prints.
