Yknot Fishing Charters is located in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia.
We specialise in the Ultimate Bluewater Fishing Adventure which ranges from Reef and Pelagic Fishing hitting all of the best (and secret) spots that Top End has to offer. Departing most days From Cullen Bay Jetty unless we are fishing out of Dundee Beach, NT. We operate our Fishing Charters from Darwin Harbour to as far as the Tiwi Islands and even as far West as the Peron islands.
Locally owned & operated by Charles Vears who has been in the fishing industry for over 16 years and operating within the Darwin Fishing Charter industry for the past 11 years and has extensive knowledge of Top End waters.
Our vessels:
-'KNOTORIOUS' is a 42ft Westcoaster with all the fruit including a fly bridge, comfortable cabin with seating, toilet facilities, large rear back deck with full canopy and a full walk around deck making it perfect for all types of fishing styles.
- 'KNOT STOPPIN' which is a 9m Preston Craft. It's the fastest charter boat in the Top End with its twin Mercury V8 300hp Sea Pros, allowing us to get you to the spots quicker, meaning more fishing time!
Between our 2 vessels we can accommodated up to 20+ anglers.
What is included on our Charters, Everything!!!
We supply delicious catering and cold drinking water to keep up your energy and hydration throughout the day. BYO Alcohol (cans preferred).
Rods, Tackle, Bait, Ice and Eskys are all onboard and we also have toilet and full length canopy for shade.
You are welcome to catch and release or take your catch home. Our experienced team will clean, fillet and bag your catch prior to departing the vessel.
For a small additional fee, we can freeze your fillets at our premises and pack them into an airline approved box for you to fly or transfer your fish back to your home state.
(Please note: We adhere strictly to Northern Territory fishing regulations and bag limits.)

Our Darwin Charters depart from Cullen Bay Ferry Terminal. There is parking at Cullen Bay, so we please ask you arrive 30 mins prior to your departure time. Dundee Charters are tide dependent and depart from Dundee Beach boat ramp.
- Cancellations outside of 60 days will incur a 10% booking fee.
- Cancellations within 30-60 days of departure will incur a 25% booking fee off total booking cost.
- Cancellations within 30 days of departure will incur 50% booking fee off total booking cost.
- Cancellations within 2-14 days of departure will incur 75% booking fee off total booking cost.
- No refund will apply to cancellations within 48 hours of departure and no credit will be offered.
- If you are coming from interstate/overseas and your flight gets cancelled we will provide a credit only.
- Yknot will provide a full credit or refund if cancellation is due to weather or any other unforeseen circumstances.
