A community family water and beach event. Attracting a crowd from overseas and across the nation. It's an iconic event and is in the top 10 tourist attractions. Money raised on the day is given back to the community in the form of a 'Beneficiary' recipient. Organised by the combined Lions Clubs of Darwin. The Darwin Lions Beer Can Regatta is an annual event not to be missed! This iconic annual family fun event of Darwin, established in 1974 is an event for all to use your imagination to design a vessel from cans, plastic bottles or milk cartons as long as it floats. There is plenty of activities for the kids and a fun day out.
