New Zealand Spotlight with Tourism Australia - 4 October 

 

The New Zealand market continues to recover with Aviation routes into Australia expected to increase to 83% in March 2023. On Average the New Zealand traveler spends 10 nights in the nation with 53% visiting friends and relatives and 26% Leisure holiday travelers. The consumer experience, consideration of the destination and intention to travel are on the rise with safety and security the number one draw factor. The main market travelling from New Zealand are HYT, Luxury traveler and the long-stay traveler with top defining interests being Natural Environment, Food & Drink, Wildlife and the Journey.

 

 

 

North America Spotlight with Tourism Australia - 4 October 

 

Sentiment continues to be strong generally for long haul travel at present. Latest research from MMGY shows that 81 per cent of Americans are placing more importance on taking vacation days in the next 12 months and that 73 per cent of all United States leisure travellers are interested in travelling internationally in the next 12 months, with Australia up four percentage points.

 

 

Japan Spotlight with Tourism Australia - 6 September

 

In 2019, Japan was Australia’s fifth largest inbound market for visitor arrivals, and for total visitor spend and sixth for visitor nights. Australia is the most popular destination for overseas school excursion programs from Japan. Increasing focus is being placed on the Free and Independent Travel (FIT) segment, as Japanese outbound travellers mature.

The Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Awards (Brolga Awards) are the official tourism awards program for the Northern Territory.

The Brolga Awards recognise and encourage tourism businesses that strive for excellence in every area of their operation. Winning a Brolga Award is the industry’s highest accolade and the recipients represent the best products and services in the Northern Territory. Business category winners represent the Northern Territory at the Australian Tourism Awards.

Hook into BookEasy - 20 May

How do customers book your product?
Bookeasy is the centralised Booking Management System used by your Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO) to make bookings for you. All bookings made in-house by your RTO on the customers behalf, or by a customer directly through the RTOs website are powered by Bookeasy.
For your product to be bookable through your RTO, your booking system must to be connected to Bookeasy. If you do not have a compatible system, you are able to manage your product directly in Bookeasy.
This tutorial will provide simple instructions on how to connect to Bookeasy and how to ensure your bookable product is attractive and up to date for best results.
