About Top End Gran Fondo 2025
Gran Fondo means “big endurance” — and that's exactly what this event delivers. The Sunbuild Top End Gran Fondo is the Northern Territory’s largest and most iconic community cycling event, hosted annually by the Darwin Cycling Club. Since 2012, this epic ride has brought together competitive, amateur, and recreational cyclists of all levels for a truly unique Top End experience.

Now in its 14th year, the 2025 Gran Fondo will return with a fully closed road circuit between Darwin’s Waterfront Precinct and Palmerston, taking in the rolling hills of Charles Darwin National Park. The closed-road course ensures the safety of all riders — from first-timers to seasoned pros — and makes for a welcoming, inclusive event the whole community can enjoy.
