Located alongside the iconic Adelaide River Cruises (home of the world-famous jumping crocodiles) and the Humpty Doo Barramundi Farm, this new venture brings together the best of both worlds — expert aquaculture and immersive outback adventure.

Getting Here from Darwin

Hooked on Barra is just a 70km drive from Darwin — allow around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Head south on the Stuart Highway, then turn left onto the Arnhem Highway. Cruise past Humpty Doo, then about 20 minutes later, turn left onto Anzac Parade.

Follow Anzac Parade to the very end, passing Fogg Dam. At the end of the road, turn right onto the gravel driveway and follow it straight to the river.

Cancellation Policy

Hooked on Barra – Terms and Conditions
1. General

Hooked on Barra is a land-based recreational fishing experience operated in a rural outdoor setting. Participation is at your own risk, and all guests must follow safety instructions provided by our staff at all times.

2. Bookings

All bookings must be paid in full at the time of purchase.

Bookings can be made online, through partnered agents, or in person (subject to availability).

Group bookings and exclusive sessions may be arranged by prior agreement.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Customer cancellations: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the session start time will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are non-refundable.

Operator cancellations: In the rare event Hooked on Barra cancels a session (e.g. due to weather, operational issues, or safety), you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

4. Safety & Participation

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Guests must wear appropriate footwear and follow all safety briefings.

Alcohol and drug use is strictly prohibited on-site. Entry may be refused to intoxicated guests without refund.

We reserve the right to remove or refuse entry to any person who poses a safety risk to themselves, others, or wildlife.

5. Wildlife Interaction

This is a live, outdoor experience in a natural setting. Wildlife sightings (including crocodiles or birds) are common but not guaranteed.

Guests must not feed or attempt to touch any wild animals.

6. Liability

While every effort is made to provide a safe experience, Hooked on Barra is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained while on the premises.

Guests participate at their own risk and agree to waive any claims of liability against the operators, staff, or associated partners.

7. Photography & Media

By attending, you consent to photos or video of your experience being taken and used for promotional purposes, unless you notify staff in advance
