Melbourne International Comedy Festival's national comedy competition Class Clowns has been unearthing the freshest voices in Australia comedy for almost three decades, and this year’s stars are some of the most hilarious yet.
Are you between 14-18 and keen to participate?
All it takes is 3-5 minutes of original material in any genre – whether it’s stand-up, sketch, solo, group, musical or physical comedy – the possibilities are endless! Participants take part in a free workshop to fine-tune their acts under the guidance of a professional comedian before taking to the stage. The funniest acts will earn a trip to Melbourne to perform at the National Grand Final, and the chance to win a $1,500 cash prize plus a workshop package for their school.
