🌿Care for Nature & Leave Only Footprint
Stick to designated paths, avoid feeding or touching animals, and don’t remove plants, rocks, or shells. Respect Aboriginal rock art and sacred sites, and report any injured wildlife you encounter.
Stay sun-safe with protective clothing and eco-friendly repellents. Report any water leaks, bring reusable items to avoid single-use plastics, take your rubbish with you, recycle, and follow National Park guidelines.

Darwin has two main seasons, the Dry from May to October and the Wet from November to April, along with six unique Gulumoerrgin (Larrakia) seasonal cycles. Conditions can change quickly especially during the Wet Season so checking the latest weather reports helps you travel safely and responsibly.
